We are incredibly lucky to have not only the Forest of Dean as our home, but the Wye Valley just a 20 minute drive away. Home to some of the most breath-taking views and landscapes in Britain.

Forest of Dean Sculpture Trail

This trail is hidden full of sculptures that are sure to capture your curiosity! The trail itself is situated in the heart of Englands ancient woodland, with a local cafè to quench your thirst afterwards.

Puzzlewood

An enchanted forest that puts you right inside of a fantasy movie.
The history and nature this forest entails, provides inspiration to storytellers and authors. Scenes in two popular movie blockbusters, Lord of the Rings and Star Wars have been filmed here. See if you can recognise some of the scenes when you visit!

New Fancy View Point

This viewpoint is the ideal place to watch birds of prey soar over the beautiful woodland we call our home.
With a picnic area nearby, this is a great spot to stop and take in the last of the beautiful scenery on your way back home. 

Mallards Pike

Whether you are wanting a gentle stroll around the tranquil lake, a tree-top adventure at Go Ape or just a bite to eat at the cafè, this place is perfect for all. 

Dean Heritage Centre

A fun family day out, where there is something for everybody. 
The centre boasts a wide range of attractions and activities against a beautiful backdrop, as well as a little café if you wanted to spend the day there. 

Clearwell Caves

This is a fun day out for everyone. For thousands of years, iron ore mining was the main industry in the Forest of Dean. At Clearwell Caves you discover the hidden world the miners created, as they dug through impressive natural caverns to remove iron ore and ochre pigment. An impressive caving system, containing over 4,500+ years of mining history.
